Multicultural Staff
We employ people from all backgrounds, faiths and cultures, with some of our staff being bilingual. This allows for us to diversify the support the young people in our care receive.
Gateway Support Induction
Prior to starting employment, all staff undergo staff induction to ensure they understand Gateway Supports policies and procedures with 1 to 1 shadowing support provided by experienced staff.
Experience
Our senior management team and support staff have vast experience working with multiple local authorities to provide bespoke accommodation and support services for young people.
Staff Training
Our training is comprehensive and the COVID-19 pandemic has led us to adapt how we deliver it. We offer a face to face, and virtual training programme delivered by industry experts.
Our staff are all enrolled on “Care Skills Academy” which provides a number of CPD accredited courses that are relevant in ensuring our staff are equipped to meet the needs of our young people.

​Other bespoke training is identified through regular supervision and according to any ‘special’ needs of young people we support e.g. attachment disorders, Foetal Alcohol Disorder Syndrome etc.
